Try this easy and healthy rice recipe for your lunch time.
2tbsp – Oil or ghee
Carrots and beetroots (grated)
Spices namely turmeric, salt, cumin, mustard and asafoetida.
*Steam the rice for 20 minutes and let it cool for 10 minutes.
*Now, take a pan and add 2 tbsp of vegetable oil to it.
*Wait for two-three minutes until it’s hot, then add a pinch of asafoetida (hing), cumin and mustard seeds.
*Then add the cooked rice in the pan along with the spices mentioned above. Mix well and let it cook for five minutes. Turn off the flame and add grated carrots, beetroots and coriander; and your healthy, tasty rice is ready.
