Are you tired of cracked and painful heels? As we care about our face, hands and nails regularly, somehow our feet are often most neglected by us. Wearing slippers or feet-exposing footwear also leaves them susceptible to get dry and cracked.
Here are a couple of remedies involving home ingredients, which can cure your cracked heels:
Solution Number #1
Mix together:
1/4 cup Listerine (any kind)
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup warm water
Store the mixture in a large unused baking tray or something like that – and soak your feet in there for 10 – quarter-hour. Then wipe with a cloth.
Solution Number #2
This is an overnight solution – particularly good within the colder months.
Warm Soapy Water
Vicks Vaporub
Pumice Stone
Warm Socks
Soak your feet in lukewarm water for 10 minutes.
Then give them a fast exfoliation with pumice .
Rub Vicks Vaporub everywhere the cracked heels, and placed on socks before bed.
Repeat it till your heels look amazing and get cured for about a week.
Solution Number #3
This is the super frugal method. it's going to take every week or two to urge your heels to where you would like – but it's very gentle.
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 liters warm water
Soak your feet within the above mixture for 20 minutes nightly. Moisturise well before getting to bed.
At the top of the week, use pumice to softly slough away all the dead skin.
Solution Number #4
Now I haven’t actually TRIED this method, but my neighbor swears by it!
Peel, chop and boil one large turnip and then mash it.
Apply it to the cracked heels and leave it on for 2 hours (gahhh that's a long time). Wash well and sleep in woolen socks.
