Who doesn't like to add a variety of food to their breakfast routines. How about beginning your week with some power-packed waffles breakfast? This delicious waffles is made up of sweet potatoes which is healthy for us. And the interesting part of these waffles are they don't need waffle batter to make them.
Ingredients you need:
1 cup – Sweet potato, grated
4 – Whole eggs
¼ cup – Milk
1 – Onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp – Red chilli powder
1 tsp – Black pepper powder
1 tsp – Cumin powder (Jeera)
1 tsp – Dried oregano
1 tsp – Dried thyme leaves
Salt, to taste
*Grate some sweet potatoes in a bowl and break an egg, and add chopped onion, milk, and spice powders like red chilli, cumin, pepper, along with seasonings like oregano and dried thyme to it and mix all of them together well.
*Simultaneously, heat the waffle maker, and grease it with enough butter so that the waffles do not stick to the groves.
*Now pour the whisked waffle mixture in and close the waffle maker. Let it cook for atleast 15 minutes.
*Open it after seven minutes and check if the sweet potato waffles have risen in a light brown colour.
*Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy it with ice cream!
