A long weekend always demands for a good time with family for a good food. While almost all of us are spending our most of the time at home these days due to novel pandemic, we all missing out spending good time. The good thing about the festival time, is to celebrate it with family and friends with lots of mouth watering delicacies. Here we have shared the mouth-watering recipe of Poached Chicken Breast with some yummy tweaks.
Here's how you can make it:
Poached Chicken Breast
Ingredients you need:
2 each – Skinless boneless chicken breast
1 no – Onion sliced
1 no – Carrots peeled, sliced
2 no – Bay leaf
2 sprigs – Thyme
2-3 no – Garlic cloves
1 small piece – Ginger, sliced
Few coriander stems few
2-3 – Orange slices
2 each – Cinnamon, cloves, black cardamom
1l – Water
15g – Butter
How you can make it:
*Take a shallow pan and add some water in it. Now add all the ingredients to the water except the chicken breasts.
*Simmer it low for about five minutes.
*Now, slowly dip the chicken breasts into the liquid to poach slowly for 12 minutes and add salt to taste.
*Remove the chicken breasts amd let it rest.
*Now, reduce the stock to 1/10th and strain and then reserve it.
*Add the strained stock in a pan and bring it to boil whisk it in the butter to make an emulsion for the chicken.
